I have been in love with the 770 fit since it was first introduced. As such, I have 3 pairs of the denim, and 2 in garment dyed. This last one was my most recent purchase. However, the wheat fits more like the slim-straight--it's too baggy and too long. I feel like that is because of the fabric though, as I've had this same issue with other wheat denim. Anyway, if you're looking for more of a slender fit, I suggest the 484. It's bigger than your typical 484 but fits great.

Love the wheat color... The fit is perfect! Not too loose but not ridiculously tight either. The wheat color is really more of an off-white. The jeans can be dressed up or down. Looks great with loafers and jacket or a t shirt and sneakers. The color allows for 3 seasons of wear... not a pure white. I highly recommend the color and cut. I will buy more!

Love the style and color of these jeans - have been looking for jeans for my husband that are not too baggy and not too slim and these are perfect. The wheat color is very nice and great for the summer months.

If you're wondering if you should get the 770 or the 484 in rinsed wheat, the verdict is: whatevers.
The 484 rinsed wheat fits like Levi's 511, and the 770 is SLIGHTLY bigger.
There are reviews that said the 770 wheat is bigger than other 770 jeans... though it does feel that way, the measurement is the same. I bought both 484/770 in rinsed wheat and 770 in dark indigo.
I will be keeping the 484 rinsed wheat and 770 dark indigo.
I think light colored jeans look best fitted and a little more on the slim side.

I have been pondering purchasing a wheat denim pair of jeans even since Fall of 2012 when first trying on the slim-straight fit. After 2 years later I finally was able to get this color in my favorite fit--the 770!
I typically wear them at least once a week. I have received quite a few compliments when wearing them at work. Typically I pair them with a navy blazer and a button-up. They also go very well a tee or a crewneck sweater [which is my favorite way to dress]. And they go well boat shoes, loafers, and boots. I thought they would not as versatile, but wearing them has proved different!
I think every guy needs a pair of wheat denim to give you dark denim jeans a break every now and them. I am 6 feet tall and weigh about 167 with a slender build. the 32/32 770 jeans fit perfectly and allow me to cuff the bottom of the jeans once or twice. I feel comfortable. I feel confident. And most importantly, I feel cool in this Florida heat!
