Rated 1 out of 5 by Frank Declining quality
I suspected the J.Crew t-shirts were declining in quality and then figured out for sure when I re-ordered a shirt of the same exact color, style, and size as one I already had. Yep, totally different. Fits poorly, cheap material. I'm not sure what happened, but maybe J.Crew has started sourcing lower quality material. If so, I'd suggest they stop. In the meantime, though, look elsewhere for your go-to t-shirts.

I've purchased every color of this shirt over the years and noticed that the last few haven't been as good quality. After washing them they get creases and folds that can't be ironed out around the arms and waist. It's almost like part of the fabric shrinks and they are never normal.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Miguel Watch for shrinkage in white color.
I've bought a total of 4 of these shirts, with the most recent being in white. I wash all in cold water and dry in low heat, but noticed that the white shirt shrunk significantly after the first wash/dry cycle.
My other shirts (sage and navy) have been washed/dried multiple times with minimal to no shrinkage. Makes me hesitate buying a light color shirt because of shrinkage possibility.

Fits great. At 6'2" and 218lbs, I went with the XL and it's terrific. Slim but not form-fitting and the length is great too.

I am on the thin size, so I like the closer fit of these tees. In my opinion, the material has gotten a little thinner over the years, but the tee is still well-put together. I also like the fact that it is shorter in length than the regular tees.
