Great Jacket
May 5, 2026I bought the ashby prior. The beaufort gives more room to move. Not to heavy and works good in a light rain. To bad I cannot wear it more.

Quintessential piece for gentleman
February 28, 2026I was between the Beaufort and the Ashby and so happy chose the Beaufort. I remember trying the Ashby out a few years ago and liking it but it felt a bit too slim and modern for my liking with not enough room to layer. The Beaufort if the perfect Spring and Autumn jacket and can comfortable be worn over a thick cashmere sweater or a cotton roll neck sweater. This is become a quintessential go-to piece for 30-40 degree days in the city and has become one of my favorites. The wax fades over time and helps the jacket age gracefully. A staple! Highly recommend.

December 13, 2025This has become my go-to jacket for Fall and Spring. You will want to buy it a bit roomy so you can layer underneath it. Perfect for the City or country!!!!

December 4, 2025I bought this for my hubby. He doesnt like a heavy jacket while driving. The only gripe he has is the zipper can be a bit tricky.

The Beaufort - A Timeless Classic
November 23, 2025I've wanted a Beaufort for quite some time. It's a beaufiful, timeless coat that handles the rigors of San Francisco fog and recently crisp winter days in New York. The hardware is impressive and solid, popping gold against the olive waxed finish. My partner put it on this morning to walk the dog and he could not stop talking about how nice the jacket was. Looking into another style of Barbour jacket for him as a Christmas gift!
