Every guy needs a great suede boot, so we made one that's sure to last a lifetime. We started by using the same last that we use for our Kenton bucks to give it a great (read: comfortable) shape. Then we added a Goodyear welt—the same kind our best dress shoes use—to ensure years of wear. Add a richly colored suede upper and a leather lining and, boom, the ultimate chukka boot is born. Why Bennett? It's a nod to James Gordon Bennett, Jr., the dapper gent credited with organizing the first-ever polo match in the U.S., held on May 6, 1876, at Dickel's Riding Academy at 39th Street and Fifth Avenue in New York City.
