Cowlneck sweatshirt

I wear this every morning to walk my dogs- it's easy, warm and I love the pockets. But the sleeves are oddly tight- I can't push or roll them up. Also while cozy it can be slightly itchy.

I like the style of this, but if I hadn't already washed it, I'd definitely return it. I washed and dried it on low, but it shrunk more than I thought it would. And even though it looks soft and cozy on the inside, it's very itchy -- too itchy for me, and now it's too snug to fit a long-sleeve turtleneck shirt under it. It's a cotton/poly/wool combo, but I didn't think you'd feel the wool as much as you do or that it would cause it to shrink it as much as it did. Buyer's remorse on this one, for sure

Are y'all reading the description? It says right there it's d/c only...I know it's annoying, but if it says d/c in the description it shouldn't come as a surprise. Anyway. This runs small. Sizing is somewhat inconsistent at J.Crew - sometimes I'm an XS, sometimes an S, and the dress size 2 is a bit tight but 4 is loose. I decided to size down in this case, figuring a sweatshirt would stretch, but the XS is definitely too small. After reading the other reviewer's comment about shrinkage I'm actually considering going all the way up to an M - and M is normally way too big at J.Crew. It's extremely warm and cozy. I wish it wasn't out of stock in the white and grey or I'd buy all 3 colors. I also disagree that it's boxy - it's a sweatshirt, it's not supposed to be very fitted. It's still not an unflattering size. I don't feel bulky or enormous wearing it. Do recommend, would size up for sure.

i wanted to love this sweatshirt. i was looking for something i could throw on over leggings but still look cute, but this didn't work. the fit is way too boxy and too short to wear over leggings as it doesn't cover your behind (i'm 5'6") and the sleeves are too short! the fit looks nothing like the model in terms of length. unfortunately i took a risk and purchased as final sale, so i guess i'll just have to stick to wearing it around the house. disappointing though as i love the feeling of the fabric, but not what i expected.

This was an odd fit, the bottom comes in narrow and makes the pockets stick out at my hips (and I am very petite) the sleeve length also bizarre, just slightly too short. SO my advice is order a size up if you want to try it!

This fits true to size but hits at the high hip and does not cover the rear, unlike the model. Great fabric - nice and thick and warm, and I love the pockets, contrasting laces and retro style. A keeper but the arms are practically 3/4 length and in a cozy sweatshirt I want long sleeves! With some stretching it will be fine but I hope this doesn't shrink when cleaned!
