Girls' funnelneck tunic sweatshirt in stripe

Soft and plush fabric on the inside . Purchased size 10 - daughter is 4’6” and weighs 70 lbs. It covers her behind and she loves it.

My daughter loves this sweatshirt! The inside fabric is soft and fleecy like the sweatshirts of the 80s. (Not like “sherpa” fleece though.) It hits her 3” below her hip bone and covers the top of her thighs. She is 70 lbs, 54” tall and we bought size 10. The funnel neck looks great up or folded down. This was *key* for my “this-fabric-is-scratchy/these-seams-bug-me/I only want to wear leggings that don’t scrunch at the knees” 4th grader! The sleeves are a little long on her arms, but she’s just switching from size 8 to size 10 in crewcuts. More style than a basic sweatshirt but it doesn’t try too hard to be cool. More colors please!

I bought one each of these in both colors, in XL for my daughters and while the colors are nice and the fabric substantial, this isn't a tunic-length sweatshirt. My daughters are slender and within the height range for XL but these tops barely made it below their hips. If you want a top that will provide some coverage over skinny jeans and leggings, this one won't do the job. JCrew, just call this a sweatshirt.
