Limited-edition Wallace & Barnes work jacket in Italian suede

When I purchased this jacket on sale I was anticipating its arrival. It finally came and I was so glad I made the purchase. it is a very well made piece in a traditional style. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because I am not a fan of the corduroy collar. If it is in stock, do not wait, order it now.

Fits similarly to the other jackets of the same style from J Crew (in different materials). The aggressive taper to the waist is a little tight for me, but the fit is otherwise good. I like the action back. The suede doesn't feel too buttery, but that might come with break in.

Great Carhartt detroit style jacket. Suede lets you dress it up. Jacket style is chopped, so will hit at waist. Rest of jacket actually fits true to size.

I've been looking for a suede jacket for a long time. Construction, weight, fit - could never seem to get anything right. Then I happened on this piece a few months back; I've been eyeing it ever since. Finally pulled the trigger and WOW. The fit was *perfect*. The weight of the material is *just right*. The fit hits my shoulders perfectly. The action back gives you additional flexibility (no bulking when you raise your arms or reach out to hug your s/o). The length sits just right for the near-perfect silhouette. For those of you wondering, the color matches the images. The corduroy collar is a great touch (low maintenance) and the reverse is in suede. Love the cotton lining; a perfect balance of rugged yet comfortable. This should pair very nicely with a pair of jeans, khakis, you-name-it. This is a piece that you can keep for a LONG time and re-use on multiple occasions (dress up, dress down).

Unique suede jacket with a great fit. The jacket is very well made and you can tell a lot of thought went into the design. It has nice weight to it without being overly heavy and the bi-swing back gives you extra room to move. The lining in sleeves is different from the lining in the body (more silk like) and allows you to put the jacket off and on easily. There are thick snaps at the bottom of the sleeves so you can easily adjust them without having to worry about losing buttons. There is also an inside pocket which has also has snap rather than a button. For reference I'm 6'1", 185lbs with a 43 inch chest, a 35 inch sleeve and a 33 inch waist and the jacket fits really well in a size large. The only caveat is that the length of the jacket is similar to a work or jean jacket so if you have a very long upper body this might not be the right jacket for you.
