as the 18th century, the peacoat is known for its distinctive double-breasted design and hefty woolen construction. We modeled our version on military-issue styles from the 1930s, using a soft-but-sturdy wool blend with authentic, old-school details like reinforced anchor-motif buttons. We also built it with quilted eco-friendly PrimaLoft insulation to keep you warm on blustery days.

Very nice jacket, but not made for a human body.
April 5, 2024Material and lining is nice. I loved the reddish mahogany brown. Fit is absolutely wack. The large had ridiculously wide shoulders and arm pits that hung to my waist. That combo made it impossible to lift an arm without dragging the jacket way up with it. Exchanging for a medium, it was way smaller than size chart suggested, and shoulders were still too wide.
