Washable merino wool cardigan sweater

OK, I bought this on sale, and even so wondered whether to buy. But at a sale price little to lose. It would have been a fair buy at full price or -10%. Old, I'm an opportunistic buyer, and this was a great purchase! It exceeded my expectations for the buck. Note to Crew: this supplier is excellent. Top companies are distinguished not by whether the manufacturer is in a top geography, but by whether designs, materials, and production standards are rigorous and the product is high quality. I've seen this with high end audio gear. Almost none of my gear is made in the U.S./Canada/Europe but ... the high end brand companies do the design and demand quality in all areas, e.g. American and Japanese chips, British drivers, in a Chinese assembled product. Crew is apparently doing this. What you have here is top quality wool assembled carefully to pattern, well sewn. A classic garment. Bravo!

Welp. I botched it. I shrunk mine but I liked it so much I'm ordering another. It's a little bit small, and shrinks easily, so I suggest ordering a size up. It's thin and stretches more than my other sweaters but it's a very nice cut that boosts my confidence.

A great sweater for dressing up with a dress shirt and tie for work or dressing down with a casual button-down for going out with friends. Very soft and slick looking. I’m a taller customer with medium build and it fell at a good height without having to bump up to the Tall sizing. Definitely recommend.

This is the perfect casual cardigan. It makes a pair of jeans look good enough for most occasions! My husband has a thick cotton J. Crew cardigan that's off white and one of his favorites. This marino wool cardigan is even better as it's warmer.
