Lambswool Fair Isle sweater-vest

The picture doesn't do this vest justice. The colors are so much more vibrant. The fit in large is perfect; I've dressed it up/down, it takes on the challenge of not being too busy with my ensemble and brings things together. Definitely a must have!

In many ways, this Fair Isle sweater-vest exceeded my expectations. It appears well made and the pattern is more beautiful in person than in the photos. My one recommendation is to size down. I normally take a medium from J.Crew (and sometimes have a tailor take the sides in), but this medium was considerably bigger in the shoulders and sides than I had expected. I sized down to a small and it fits my frame perfectly.

I am a huge fan of fair isle and this sweater vest is the perfect item to add to my collection. Great fit, design and material.

This is a great wool vest. The print is fantastic and the fabric is durable. Although great, for me it was far too big. I am 5'9 and 150 lbs, so normally I wear a small... this vest fit more like a medium rather than a small. I tried it on with Oxford shirts, and it was still rather big on me. They must have pinned the model in the pictures in the back as the vest looked as though it was going to be more form fitted (as they have him wearing a t-shirt with it) and it was not. It was really unfortunate, so I had to return the item. Perhaps if you are a bulkier kinda guy, it might fit well, but for us smaller fit framed guys...very bulky.
