Good concept. Poor execution.
May 9, 2024I washed it and immediately regretted keeping it. I have been searching for something to wear like a hoodie that's not a hoodie and not a sweater. I thought this was going to be it. Because it is 100% cotton, it had hard creases from packing and shipping. When I determined the fit was good, I washed and dried it per label instructions. I should have returned it. 1) It is NOT SOFT AT ALL. Scratchiest cotton I have ever felt. 2) It probably should have some nylon or polyester to "support" the knit. The fabric got really fuzzy after one wash. It already looks like a two year old garment. 3) The zipper construction is a complete fail. The pockets are sewn into a bead beside the zipper. Above the pockets the zipper lies flat. At the pockets the beads flare out and expose the zipper. It looks odd and should have been constructed differently. Had I known these three things, I would have sent it back and kept looking. I will attempt to add images. The fit is a little relaxed, but I don't think it is excessive. The design is great; it's like a hoodie without a hood. Fabric and construction would have been a dealbreaker for me, had I known.
