Kenton Chelsea boots in English waxed suede
Chelsea boots became even more popular in the 1960s, thanks to their versatility and good looks. Whether you dress them up or down, these Kenton boots go everywhere you do. They're crafted in sturdy, made-in-the-UK waxed suede from C.F. Stead, a renowned British tannery that boasts well over a century of expertise, and finished with a lug Vibram® sole. You'll also find a Goodyear welt, which means that you can resole these again and again—and that will come in handy since they'll get tons of wear.

What customers are saying:
Customers love the excellent build quality and premium leather of these boots, which make them well suited for everyday wear. Several customers noted that sizing can be a bit tricky and recommended trying a size or even a size and a half down from typical sneaker sizes for a more comfortable, streamlined fit. Many suggested checking the fit in-store when possible, since the boots may feel roomier than expected with thicker socks. Overall, the boots deliver great style, solid durability, and a uniquely comfortable feel when the proper size adjustment is made.

Great GYW boot to last a while
February 21, 2022Really comfortable to stand and walk around in. Darker color than in the picture but as I wear it I’m sure the lighter colors will come out as it gets worn in. The leather is very nice and smudges are easily brushed right out. I wear an 8 in everything other than a sneaker and they were snug but you need a closer fit for a Chelsea boot. I plan on wearing these to work and the lug sole might be a bit too aggressive so I might think about getting a slimmer commando sole when I have to re-sole. The pulls on top feel a little plasticky but for the price I paid I’m satisfied.

buy your size
February 4, 2022The photos makes these boots look big and roomy, others are saying but a size down. I did that and now I'm stick with a boot that doesn't fit. Quality is spot on but it sucks that I'm stick with a boot I can't wear.

Love this boot!
February 3, 2022This boot is excellent quality. I went down 1/2 size from my normal size. They were very snug. I had to stretch out the vamp with a vamp stretcher and now it's a perfect fit. If you plan on wearing these with thicker socks, I would go true to size.

Well made pair of boots in quality material.
February 2, 2022Bought these on sale and I am really happy with how they fit. The materials used on this pair are top notch and is the same quality that other decent boot makers use. Sizing can be a little tricky but I would say stick with your brannock size and they should fit fine. JCrew needs to do a better job with sizing advice if they are going to sell good quality shoes/boots. Perfect for the winters with the Vibram lug soles.overall I’m satisfied with them.

Nice boot but... Why are they so biiiiiiiig?
January 25, 2022Bought them from sale, sight unseen. Went for -0.5 size from sneakers like I do with other boots. So from 9 I went 8H... They arrive and they are as big as a 10. How can a 8h be so big? SO SO SO Big. And while they are big, I need to wear thin socks or else it feels too tight. It makes no sense. Quality wise, its a well done boot. Leather feels and look amazing. Very dark out of the box, so I assume it will go to the advertised color once broken in, or at least I hope. The color out of the box is VERY VERY dark. Dark brown, very dark brown. Overall a good boot if you have narrow long feet and manage to size down A size and a half. I think I should have gone 8 or even 7H. I think J. Crew should adjust the sizes to be more realistic. Why mark it as 8H when you could have marked it as 10? If possible go measure them in store, because you'll be stuck with a non-returnable good looking clown boot.
