Wallace & Barnes boiled merino wool chore jacket

It's a snug medium. It's warm, but not too warm. It can be a jacket. It can be a sweater. This thing rules. I snagged it for like $28 with a coupon but would have been happy if I paid $70. I would buy it in all three colors if I could. I feel like a Swedish mechanic when I wear it, which is several times a week. The one meh part are the buttons. They feel a little wimpy for such a nicely made piece.

This sweater jacket fit perfectly! More structured than a normal cardigan, but not too stiff. Looks a little more dressed up than a cardigan too. This made the perfect gift for my dad.

This is a gorgeous sweater! I bought it on-line for my son for Christmas and he loves it! It has a stylish European look and he looks very sophisticated wearing it! We definitely recommend it! For reference he's 5'10" muscular 185 lbs and the large is perfect.

Absolutely great sweater regarding material weight, construction, style and overall quality EXCEPT, it pills very, very badly. I’d say EXCESSIVELY would be the best word.

As others have mentioned, it pills really easily. I really like the fit and look, but it pilled over two wears while sitting at my desk in my home office. At this point, the pilling isn't so bad that I wouldn't recommend it, but I guess I wouldn't expect it to occur to the degree it as for how little I've worn at its price point.

Great sweater—heavy, nicely styled, and serves as a do just about anything piece. It pills like crazy, giving it a vintage worn look. For some wearers this might not be acceptable. Been working nicely for me!
