Wallace & Barnes vintage brushed back terry anorak

Product Details

Wallace & Barnes is our exclusive collection of modern, rugged essentials inspired by traditional workwear, old military uniforms and classic outdoor gear. The anorak, first invented by the Caribou Inuit of modern-day Greenland, was originally made from caribou or seal skin, but this one is made from brushed terry cloth. Terry cloth is knitted from two separate yarns—one that stays taut, and another that creates the loose loops, called "piles," on the inside. We brushed the piles so they'll feel extra-soft against the skin. A comfortable piece for less arctic climates, it's been garment-dyed for highs and lows at the seams.
