Moonrise pearl disc earrings

These earrings are pretty but the post is very thick. It hurts to remove them. I don't know if it's just me but I have noticed the same thing about several JCrew earrings lately. I don't have this problem with other brands. The post is visibly thicker. It is unfortunate because they are the perfect way to elevate an everyday outfit. I can wear them but then I have to give my ears a break for 3 days.

I really liked the shape of these earrings when I saw them online. They remind me of 80's style in a way. I am going to keep them even though they are really a bit too heavy for the ear lobe. They are passable but could've been executed better.
