March 25, 2023I bought this jacket because it reminded me of a jacket I own when I was eleven. Best decision ever. It is super warm and has been perfect for the crazy California storms. Great for rain and snow, plenty warm and I get so many compliments. My only regret is not having bought more colors

March 19, 2023The coat is very warm but a bit awkward. There’s a lot of material around the neck, which another reviewer mentioned. It’s a bit uncomfortable and the hood doesn’t stay on unless the button is snapped which isn’t ideal. Reminds me of a kids coat for some reason. I got a really good deal so I won’t return but probably won’t wear too often.

Great winter coat
February 16, 2023Loved the little extra things on this coat. The ribbed cuffs with thumb holes, ribbed neck, pulls to cinch the waist so you have a shape. I bought this in the blue and it is a beautiful color. It fit well, super warm.

Perfectly Toasty
February 3, 2023I purchased the green which is slightly lighter than the pictures. Hubby loved on my tanned, olive complexion. I've gotten compliments from friends too. Fit is slightly larger; I kept the XXS and there is room for a sweater. I weigh about 123, 5'2, slim to average build. This is definitely the warmest coat I own. I wore in sub zero weather (-17°) outside for a continuous 25- 30 min ( with other layers) and I was perfectly warm. I only wish it had the slide in side pockets. I came back on here to purchase black but it is sold out. I like the warm edging on the sleeves with thumbholes. I also like the raised collar with the soft edging inside, it's warm and also stylish.

Warm Winter Jacket
January 19, 2023I’ll preface this by saying I’m from Southern California, so my version of cold is 40 degrees. That said, I found this jacket perfect on the coldest of so cal days and evenings. I like that it comes up high in the neck and has a hood, which helps insulate against the elements. The length was perfect, covering the bum. I am usually large but read previous reviews indicating it ran large, so I ordered a medium, and it fits perfectly even with a sweater underneath.

Warm quality but not particularly flattering
January 11, 2023Super warm & functional! I have a long puffer from years ago which is a Petite L (which I can barely close), but the Medium on my curvy size 14 frame zips easily around my hips & butt. Nice, deep pockets. Definitely makes you look very puffy, especially when zipped, although waist can be tightened inside. Have had great experience with J.Crew coats.
