RAINS® unisex rain jacket

The odor that came from the jacket straight out of the box nearly knocked me over. I can't believe they would sell such an item. The material is very rubbery and the medium fits like a large or extra large. Trying to send it back for a refund but, so far, having great difficulty.

I recently received this coat and when I opened it up I was overwhelmed by the terrible smell. it almost smelled like fish food. I tried washing it but the smell didn’t go away. i’m not sure if it will eventually fade but it is really bad. other than the smell, I really like the look and style!

I bought this through Rain to use on a trip to Denmark (that is where this product is from so I thought I couldn't go wrong). The shoulders are too large (more for a man) and the sleeves are long. Beautiful colors though and I think well made although I haven't tested it in the rain. I'm 5'6 and 125 pounds. I got the small but definitely could have gone xs. It's oversized and again seems to have a cut more for men - I wish the shoulders were smaller and arms not as long. I'd stick with the jcrew rain jacket for something more feminine and fitting. I'm hoping this jacket will do the job keeping me dry though.
