Best coat in years!
November 27, 2022This is the most elegant, sophisticated coat I’ve purchased in years. It effortlessly elevates even the most basic outfit. Regarding the sizing, I’m always wary when reviews say an item runs large, as I always worry the arms will be too short or the arm holes too restrictive if I size down (I’m 5’8” and 120 lbs). But this coat is definitely extremely oversized. I usually wear a Small/4, and the XS was more than roomy enough—including the arms. Definitely size down by one size.

Gorgeous Color, Luxurious Feel
November 1, 2022This is more of an oatmeal color in person, which I absolutely love. I’m usually a large in winter coats but this one is very oversized so I had to go down to a small. This coat looks and feels so luxurious for such a reasonable price. I absolutely love it!

Beautiful coat
October 20, 2022Love this coat - the material looks very high-end, and it has a great shape. It does run very large. I'm 5'5", 145 lbs., and have been taking an 8 in J. Crew pants, a 4-6 in tops, and an 8 in blazers, and I took a regular XS in this coat. (And I would have exchanged for a petite XS, if it had been available, as I still would have plenty of room in the chest and wouldn't have minded it being a couple of inches shorter since I'm on the cusp of being petite.) Note that the sleeves on the regular are already on the short side. Still extremely happy with this purchase and I know I will wear it all the time.

NOT wool - name is misleading
October 11, 2022Wanted to love this one - the cut and fit are fantastic, and at a distance it looks great. Close up, I took a second look and checked the tag - and sure enough, this coat has barely any wool in it. It's misleading to call it "Italian brushed wool" when it's mostly non-wool and synthetic fabrics like acrylic, while typically pills terribly. It's a shame that such cheap fabric is being used for a coat that should be a quality wardrobe staple.

Timeless beauty
October 9, 2022I was immediately drawn to the Mrs. Maisel vintage vibe of this coat. The brushed wool gives this a high quality expensive look and my husband loves how it looks on me. It’s not heavy but that’s a good thing. It will be a great transitional piece for late Fall or early Spring here in the Northeast. I normally wear a P6 or P8 in J Crew coats but in this relaxed style I definitely needed XSP and it’s still roomy enough for heavy sweaters underneath. This style is timeless and it’s a nice departure from my fitted dress coats.

February 5, 2022Gorgeous coat! Sadly does not fit me. I am a Jcrew size 14 or 16 and purchased a size L and I am swimming in it. Size Down!
