Alex Eagle X J.Crew reversible trench coat

Really beautiful coat. Purchased both colors. Quality is great. Love the reversible side! It was huge on me and I had to rerun for much smaller. I believe it was also not available in petite which was a downside too.

I bought my normal size 6, which is usually just right in J. Crew. I have slightly broad shoulders and depending what I’ve worn under the jacket it can be a little tight in the shoulders but very wide at the bottom. Looks super cute worn open but maybe a little wide when buttoned up. I still think perfect to wear with dresses and the long trench seems to be right on trend. I love the reversible pattern and will absolutely get tons of wear from this jacket for many years to come.

Incredibly happy I jumped on the opportunity to buy this when it went on sale. I got so excited I got it in both colors, haha. Anyway, the jacket is amazing. I have other trench coats, more expensive, and this surpasses it. It's thick and warm and fits so well. I must say, the lining is a bit itchy though. Not enough to hate it though. Wearing it in reverse is so comfy too! Super happy about this purchase.

Perfect navy winter trench! Had this on my wishlist but wanted to wait for a good sale, but unfortunately it sold out quickly in my size. However, it was destiny as a sz 14 came back in stock and i immediately purchased it at 70% off! I was hesitant because I am between sizes in j crew coats (M or L) depending on the cut. This coat states it’s “relaxed” usually meaning a little oversized. The other reviews state that it was oversized as well…so I was hoping I’d get lucky and the 14 wouldn’t swallow me. And luckily for me…the 14 fit absolutely perfect. If I had ordered one size down it would actually have been too tight in the shoulder area. Especially if I had a thick sweater on. The coat does have a more straight to aline cut which I think is why others felt it was too oversized…especially a lot of the petite reviews. But if you are above 5’6 and have a normal build I think your normal size would be fine. The navy is gorgeous, the plaid wool lining beautiful and is very thick and warm. If you’re lucky enough to snag this one…I wouldn’t hesitate.

Pleasantly surprised! I’ve been in search of a nice trench coat and this is it. I ordered the blue version. Nicely made and a unique twist to the traditional. Other reviewers stated that this fit very oversized so I ordered one size down from my typical size 6. The size 4 was perfect in both width and length with a more “streamlined” look. I definitely recommend this piece.

Bought this for my daughters in both colours and it is absolutley beautiful! It is so fun to be able to wear both sides.
