The perfect coat
22 hours agoLined-water resistant, stunning fit, comfy. My only negative is the belt is sewn in and a bit too long, I also would have loved this in a slightly warmer acorn color. I will buy this coat again until the end of time. I am between a size 6 and 8 and was very glad I sized up.

Just what I've been looking for
4 days agoI've been wanting a classic trench coat for a long time. I really like the color and fit of this coat. It also has a removable hood. It seems more substantial than other coats I've tried with a thicker feel. I think It'll keep me warm and dry in chilly weather. I am 5'3" 145 lbs with a larger bust and I got the 8, which is my regular size at J.crew

5 days agoThis coat is gorgeous. Beautifully made. I recommend sizing up if you’re deciding between two sizes. This coat runs smaller than other coats that I’ve purchased from JCrew. The sleeves are shorter and the hip area is tighter than my normal JCrew coat size.

Perfect trench, but size up!
6 days agoI purchased this and the newer trench style to compare. I ended up liking this coat the best! I am 5'4" 116 lbs and have an athletic style body. I'm typically a 0/2 sometimes petite but went with a 4 regular which is perfect with a light layer. I would say size up 2 sizes if you plan on wearing bulkier clothing underneath. The jacket is structured and has beautiful details. (Like snap pockets and pretty silver buttons that pop when the hood is attached). The little buttons to hold the strap in place are amazing. In comparison, the newer trench has a cooler hue and is much more drapey. I am in love with this one and will keep an eye out for a good sale on the black version.
