Billie dress in houndstooth wool blend

I absolutely love the Linen version of this dress, and this is so cute and I love wintery dresses/wool/houndstooth, and the lace addition is such a cute way to make it more interesting and flirty and delicate, but this doesn't hang on me well at all like the linen version of this dress, and not just because of the fabric difference, the cut and proportions fit so different from the linen version, the top feels too big while the waist/hips are tight. The lining on the linen version is also a really lovely soft light cotton feeling fabric that hangs really well, but the lining on this is more of a plasticky feeling polyester. Going to have to return it which is a bummer because it's so cute online in the pictures. Might work great for someone with a different body shape, but I wanted to leave this review for anyone else who bought this hoping it would fit like the linen version.

I love this dress for fall. The houndstooth is lovely, and the black lace elevates it from simply workwear. I'm 5'7" and about 125lbs and got a size 0. I tried on the 2 at first, but it was a little boxy, the 0 is comfortable with enough room that it's definitely still a shift dress and not tight. Highly recommend!
