Pretty dress
January 19, 2023While it is a pretty dress, it didn't work for me. The longer I wore it - the larger it got. The shoulders were falling off and had the sleeves halfway down my hands after 3 hours. The material weighs down itself.

July 20, 2022Man do I love this dress! I must have taken it out of my cart 20+ times as I was concerned the fabric was going to hug me in all the wrong places, but somehow it seems to fall perfectly everywhere. The fabric is so comfortable, the length is great and it's overall a perfect dress. Usually v-necks and me do not get on, but for whatever reason, it works on this dress. It even seems to lengthen me out and I look taller than what I am (5'2 for reference and a size 4). I hope J.Crew make more of these dresses going forward.

June 29, 2022The fabric is soft, a bit clingy. I so wanted to keep this dress, but the sleeves were way too long and unfortunately the waist area showed every flaw in my belly. I don't think it would help at all to size up. Lovely soft color and fabric, good length for me @ 5'4".

If you size down, sleeves are short
June 7, 2022I'm 5'5" and typically a small. Based on the reviews I sized down to xs. The body looks fine, but the sleeves are short, barely covering my wrist bones. The neck also ends up being a little narrow compared to the picture. Sizing down does change the fit to be different from how it looks on the model. I've had the issue of sizing down based on reviews to only end up with short arms before. Beware the size down with JCrew items, particularly a small to an extra small. Almost seems like extra small assumes you are petite.

lovely dress but runs large
May 27, 2022This is such a beautiful dress but I'm so glad I sized down. I am normally a solid M in J Crew dresses, but after reading reviews I decided to get the small and I'm so happy with it. I think I would be swimming in my normal medium. Even the small is not tight at all, instead it gently skims body and still looks much like the pictures of it on the model.
