Pilling
January 31, 2022I am a long time J Crew customer. I can't comprehend how these cashmere items passed through J Crew's quality control! The pilling is horrendous! I bought several Boyfriend sweaters skirts and also the cashmere leggings, wanting to gift them to my girls. However the pieces are covered in pilling, rendering the pieces unwearable. I ordered the the sweater comb and will see if I can salvage anything. But who wants to wear clothes with pills on them? Pretty disgusting. JCrew, you can do better!

November 30, 2021I have this sweater in 4 colors - it is absolutely my favorite that J. Crew has made. The cashmere is of decent quality especially given the price point and while it runs large, it's somehow always a roomy and flattering fit. I wear them year-round. The best!

Love these cashmere boyfriend sweaters
November 27, 2021Please make these available in new/multiple colors again! I own no less than five of JCrew’s cashmere boyfriend sweaters (2 with a V-neck in black and heather grey, 3 with a crew neck in heather blue, pink/rose and ivory). They are buttery soft and so comfortable. Now the weather is colder I wear one of them almost every day. Can be dressed up and down as needed. I like my sweaters loose, and the cut of these sweaters that run a bit large is very flattering. I bought the first one a few years ago and it has held up perfectly. I wash them cold and by hand. I have bought several during various sales and definitely consider them good value for money.

Great fit, awful quality
November 21, 2021Pros: Absolutely loved the fit! True boyfriend style, a little on the short side but not anything like a crop top and don’t have to wear a tank underneath. Soft and not itchy at all. Super comfortable. Cons: Only wore it 4 times, never washed, and it pilled like crazy! It started on my 2nd or 3rd wear by the time I put it on the 4th time it looked awful! I have another jcrew cashmere sweater from a few years ago and it is in great condition still. I spoke with customer service and they said they changed the fibers/hair thickness. My husband thought I had put on a cheap junky sweater that I usually wear around the house, not realizing it was my new cashmere sweater. Returned.

Favorite sweater
November 18, 2021This is real cashmere! I love these sweaters for lounging, especially in cashmere. I purchased multiple to always have one on hand between dry cleanings. The crew neck is better than the v-neck because you can wear it without undershirt.
