What customers are saying:
Customers love the beautiful, high-quality linen fabric and versatile style of this top – it’s often praised as a light, breezy piece perfect for warm weather and easily dressed up or down. Many customers mentioned that it has a relaxed, boxy look and frequently recommended sizing down for a more tailored or flattering fit. A few customers noted that the shirt runs on the shorter side, giving it a cropped appearance, so it may be useful to check your preferred length before buying. Overall, this stylish top is seen as an effortless, chic option for everyday wear that transitions well from casual outings to work.

easy weekend shirt!
1 week agoI’m really shocked at the bad reviews on this! At 5’9 it fits on me exactly how it does on the model. It is very boxy (which I like) and slightly on the shorter side but still reaches the top of my pants without issue. Honestly, my biggest gripe with it is how large the arm holes are, sometimes I feel like I have to wear a tank top (or a longline bra/bralette) underneath to cover up. That said, I think it’s definitely worth trying at the sale price at least.

Too short
January 9, 2026I’m 5’6” with a short torso. I wear xl/xxl and bought black xl and white 2X. Both are so short. It’s a definite crop and not at all what the length looks like on the model. I thought sizing up would ensure a correct length, but they are cropped regardless of the size. I love a shorter, boxier cut…but this is too short for a middle-aged woman.

Great if you like cropped shirts
January 8, 2026I always love this linen, that’s why I scooped a couple of these shirts on sale. Now I remember why I didn’t buy them when they were full price, the cropped length isn’t for me. It’s only 23” AND the sides are even shorter. Even with my high rise above the belly button pants my husband said you can see skin. A great style for someone who likes to show off their abs, but not for me. Again, the linen is as always perfect so if you can wear a cropped top and they have your size, buy this, you’ll get a great deal. Personally I would have loved the sides to be the same length as the front and back or for the shirt to have another 3 inches.

so comfortable
January 5, 2026It's designed to stay cool and not stick to your skin in hot weather, which is really great. Plus, the design is stylish. I like it. I think I'll order it in another color too.

Material, great! Style/length, not so much.
January 3, 2026The linen material is excellent, but the shirt fits like a mammogram/obgyn gown. I am super short waisted, but it barely came down to my belly button.

Terrible shape
December 18, 2025Weird length and shape. Not very flattering. I own many jcrew linen shirts so I didnt hesitate to buy this one. Unfortunately, when I tried it with a pair of shorts and tucked it in... woah it just did not work. It is hard to explain but on the sides it ends too high but then it really extends down as it get closer to the middle where the buttons are, so you end up with this really weird shape if it is untucked, but then if you tuck it since the sides are too short then it looks like a wardrobe malfunction.
