Denim Skirt Re-imagined
September 2, 2020Bought both white and dark blue. The blue is a lot more versatile. Pleased with both the purchases.

Versatile Piece
August 23, 2020I really like this skirt, and it is easy to wear now or in the fall. The material is a thick denim that has some stretch to it. The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because I got my usual size and it was one size too big—especially in the waist.

Great skirt, got it in dark denim too
July 27, 2020This was the year I just said no to my favorite white denim skirt that was, well, too short. Yup, times change. I've had my eye open for one that was more bermuda short length. This one is longer than that...but I cut off about 3" and it is super cute and perfect length, just above the knee. The slit makes it very wearable but still modest and you can basically make it whatever custom length you want. I liked it so much I got the dark denim too. I read in other reviews that it runs large and I sized down one size, glad I did. There's some stretch there too. I also wasn't sure about the pencil cut because I have a smaller waist and hips but it fits nicely. Nearly every top goes with a crisp white skirt. BTW, this isn't a true optic white, not cream either but definitely a warm white. Nice.

Spring to Summer to Fall
July 18, 2020I see a lot of use for the skirt, through several seasons, because it's long enough and of a thicker jean material to work in slightly colder weather, potentially with tights, and also opened in the front so kind of ventilates for the summer. The length is good enough to wear to the office, even with the slit, though I may take it up 1 or 2 inches, not sure. Everyone saying that the skirt is slightly bigger, convinced me to try a 27 and a 28, although I'm probably closer to a 29? (I wear a 6 in older factory shorts and JCrew pencil skirts, and 29 in other jean brands... don't fit into J.Crew pants very well). The 28 is sort of a bit tight on me, even though the material has stretch, but I'm thinking that being a jean material, it will give, and right now with Covid it's too complicated to return and try a 29, which may have also fit. I currently weigh 150, but need to get back to 140, so I'm good with this choice. I also got this skirt in the indigo.

Perfect spring & summer addition to your closet
June 28, 2020I absolutely love this skirt. It is fitted but the slit makes it super easy to walk in. And the slit is not too high either. I didn't want a tight office skirt look and this is not that. It is a bargain as compared to some other brands. I was about to buy another white skirt for almost $300 and this skirt is much cuter. It is on the larger side so get a size or 2 smaller. I usually wear a 27 or 28 in denim, and ended up keeping size 26.
