Beautiful sweater but color is off

Favorite sweater
2 days agoThis cashmere sweater is a favorite style. Love the buttons in the back that creates a ballet or boatneck look in front. The colors are beautiful. I bought yellow and blue which is a periwinkle tone. Size is a bit large. I can wear a small or extra small and went with the x-small to avoid too much fabric at the waist and shoulders. Highly recommend this beauty.

My Favorite Color
4 days agoI can never find anything in yellow that looks good with my skin tone or that is a yellow that I would ever want to wear, but this one is beautiful and very flattering. I got so many compliments when I wore it to the office. It is also so soft and comfortable and I love that you can wear it both with the buttons in the front or back.

Not for me
1 week agoThis sweater was a miss for me. The body was short and compared to the voluminous sleeves seemed " fitted". The armholes were cut so deep to accomodate the sleeves it cut into the front section in the area from below the shoulders and around the armpit area giving a significant bunching of material in that area. Hard to say if it was true to size. I ordered large to fit my chest and shoulder area, for someone shorter with smaller shoulders and bust it may work. The yellow was a bit pale. I have 7 brushed cashmere sweaters from JCrew from the first release over two years ago to last fall's release and love them all. This cashmere fabric was beautiful as are all of mine from jcrew.
