Sweater-jacket with fringe

This sweater jacket is just adorable! It’s a comfortable and warm knit and the style and cut allow you to add a little class to any outfit your wear with it. It is a tiny bit see-through, but this sweater was made to have something worn under it anyway, so that doesn’t matter much.

I usually wear a small in J Crew, and the sweater runs true to size. The sweater reminds me of a Chanel jacket that I found in a vintage store. It looks great paired with jeans.

The black is more of a charcoal and although comfy the fringe is sloppy and appears not very well made.

I was very disappointed in this jacket. It runs extremely large and is floppy on me. I should have sized down at least one size.

Beautiful, loose so you can use a belt to cinch it. Heavy and good quality, like chanel almost...

I loved J. Crew’s original merino sweater blazers so much I bought four of them, so I was excited to try a cotton version suitable for transition seasons and with some interesting design details. Unfortunately, this iteration is not thick or sturdy enough to merit the “blazer” name. The neckline/lapel area flops around at the slightest movement, in part because there’s no closure, and in part because the knit is thinner/looser than it should be (the cream version is semi-transparent). The fringe was not too over-the-top and the pocket buttons were a lovely touch, but everything else about this item would drive me up the wall, so back it goes. Size-wise, shoulders, sleeves, and waist were about as expected in my normal size; overall length hit me at mid-to low hip.
