Ribbed sweater-leggings

The material of these leggings is super soft and comfortable. However, these leggings run super large! I'm more pear shaped and generally wear between a medium and large depending on how compressive I want my leggings to be. I got these in a medium, and they're still baggy on me. They have a ton of stretch so I think it's safe to size down 1-2 sizes. Unfortunately, since the leggings have so much extra material, they look really weird on. It's fine for lounging at home, but won't help me look athleisure-cute (even with the matching bralette and cardigan!) There's tons of extra material in the crotch and butt area that bunches up when you're sitting and even when you're standing, and some extra material in the leg also. If I sized down to a small, this would probably be way cuter.

I’m a little bit shorter than these pants were made for, so a petite option would’ve been nice. However, the quality and texture of these pants are fantastic. They’re thin and lightweight, but still warm enough. My only concern is pilling on the inner thighs, as I’m a bit bottom heavy. I bought these in both colors as well as the matching tops, all in M. I could’ve easily purchased all in a size small and ended up with a little snugger fit but they would stretch.

I usually wear a Small or Medium in leggings. I got this one in Small in the grey, but wish I had bought XS. The Small fits in the waist but the legs are quite loose. The fabric is lofty and soft, very stretchy but I wonder if they will go all baggy when I wear them, and lose their shape. The color is beautiful, with a hint of blue to the grey. Overall, I like it but I'm going to see if I can exchange for an XS.
