Cinderella shoes
November 20, 2025I wear an 8.5 across the board in all shoes (and from J Crew). These are slightly too long on me - I have over 1" of free space between my big toe and the end of the shoe. The top of the vamp where the bow sits is tight and presses into my foot. These will need careful breaking in, but the blue is stunning and the leather is soft.

Good, but…
November 4, 2025I have mixed feelings about these shoes. I really like the look, but they gave me very bad blisters. I would recommend, but caution buyers they make take a while to break in.

Cute Ballet Shoe
October 16, 2025I sized up a half size, as I usually do with high vamp shoes (I have rather wide feet.) But I think my usual size would have fit more snugly and then stretched. They are a tad long on me. I'll put in a Flat Sock and that should help. Otherwise, this is the second pair of J Crew shoes that I have bought, after a long period where I had quit their shoes due to the quality going so far down hill. Not any more! My only other quibble: the ballet pink color that I ordered is actually just a slightly pinkish beige.

It Began at the Ballet...
October 16, 2025I purchased blue on sale at great price...I'm an 8 1/2 B width & the length is fine...does run a little wide in heel...The leather upper is a nice quality, however the sole is stiff & not flexible...The keyhole is interesting detail although front cut high & makes your foot look longer...Ballet flats are fashionable, especially since Chanel re-introduced them years ago during Lagerfeld's fashion reign...Love the color blue & red makes a nice accent color...
