Removable Footbed A Plus
December 28, 2021Saw these in a J.Crew retail store this fall and loved the hiker-style and ordered in my size even though I wasn't crazy about the pink/camel color-way; I wasn't sure it was a neutral enough neutral. These are the best fitting boots I have ever owned. They are waterproof, supportive and stylish, although I wouldn't wear them hiking, due to the pastel, light color. The main reason I bought these, however, is that I wear orthotics and the insoles are removable, which is hard to find. I wouldn't even have looked at these online as the description doesn't note this. J.Crew, please indicate this feature in your all footwear in the online description. And make in darker colors!

Cute but came with multiple stains
December 27, 2021Cute shoes from the first look but unfortunately they came with multiple stains, which makes me really question the quality control of Jcrew products. Unfortunately, I bought them during a final sale, so I can't neither return nor exchange them. I'd be super disappointed if these were a gift for a family or a friend.

Love the Green Colors
December 4, 2021My regular shoe size is 7 1/2, so I ordered this boot in size 8. To wear with thick socks 8 1/2 would have been better, but 9 too big. The width is fine for me and I have wider feet. The leather quality is nice, but they are a little stiff. I don't know if they will be comfortable for longer hikes. Hopefully, you can break them in. I like that they are waterproof and the green color combo is beautiful.

Cute and comfy
November 13, 2021Just got these and wore them yesterday to break them in. They were very comfy and seem easy to break in. I was hesitant to buy hiking boots from J Crew as they don’t specialize in this type of gear but figured I’d order them and see how they fit. I wear a 6/6.5 but got a 7 to wear thick socks. The size is great. They have good ankle support and the vibram soles are nice. Overall, the shoes seem well made. One con is that there isn’t much arch support, the insoles are mostly flat. Also, it comes with 2 laces, but the laces seem a bit cheap. No big deal, I might replace with leather laces. I haven’t tested the water resistance but am curious how this will hold up and if the suede stains. They are also very cute.
