Great Boot, Not A Great Color
April 12, 2022I bought these boots impulsively in the light caramel because they were deeply discounted and because I knew the leather was super soft. I love the heel height. The leather is crazy soft and the boot is really comfortable. These are definitely walking boots. That said, this color is not a great color. I was hopeful they were darker in person. They were not. It is a light beige boot which looks weird with about everything unless you wear all beige or all cream. I really wanted the burgundy boots. I wasn't able to get them from J.Crew. I bought from a reseller. But please, J.Crew stop with these weird colors! Where are people going in cream boots and pink and yellow boots that were out in other styles this season? More dark colors in boots please! I'm not going on a runway. I'm just going to the store and to work sometimes. A date maybe. This stuff is hard to match with anything.

February 19, 2022Purchased the caramel color. Boots are very comfortable and look good on. Matched a J-Crew university sweatshirt and jogger pants perfectly that I also had purchased. Overall look was perfect.

My new Favorite boots
February 10, 2022I bought these boots on sale to replace a more dressier pair. I am so glad that I did! I have a wide foot and these weren't tight at all. They are very comfortable. I love the look of them with pants but I can't wait to wear them with tights and a dress or skirt. I was happy to get them on sale, definitely wait to purchase them then, and will be waiting to grab another pair!
