Rylie peep-toe heels in velvet

Love these beautiful heels! The soft azalea is a little darker than I expected but it doesn't even matter because the color is beautiful. I'm usually a size 6.5 or 7 in J.Crew shoes and I'm glad I went with 6.5. I think 7 would've been too big. The heel height is perfect for what my feet can handle. I can't wait to wear them!

I just put them on for a wedding and the strap ripped out… so disappointed!

I got this shoe in this beautiful dark pink color and I love it. Depending on which side you look at it, the velvet is changing color. Quality is very good. I would have expected the heel to be a bit higher, it is just borderline for my minimum heel wishes. The shoe is stabile and walkable. It runs tts. Due to past experiences with J.Crew shoes I sized up half size, however, this was not needed. I am considering changing it as it is a bit loose now, and a heel shoe needs to fit exactly, otherwise it is difficult to walk in.

I normally go for a wide sturdy or very low heel, but the ankle strap won me on these. They are actually comfortable and I feel stable walking in them, not tippy. I can imagine I'll wear them out and not get achy feet much at all. I have a wide toe area and usually order a half size up for that and use an ankle strap, these are not squished but fit well. The velvet color is absolutely stunning and the rhinestone on the buckle adds the right flair. These are statement shoes that are not too out there also, so will be quite versatile. I will love these for years to come and may even order the black as well! I tried them on with the squareneck sheath stretch dress in velvet and they worked perfectly to dress it up.
