Peeling silver
December 5, 2024I remember when you could get an actual leather metallic shoe that wasn't coated and wouldn't peel. I'll be returning these after only two wears as this is happening on my pair. So disappointed. I saw a metallic "leather"belt was also peeling as well from J.Crew per another review. SMH

Buyer beware--silver cracks
November 26, 2024Although I love the look/fit/comfort of these shoes, buyer BEWARE. I've now ordered them TWICE in silver and both times, the silver pant started to crack off on the first wear. (Both times worn for less than a full work day before the paint started cracking). The first time, J.Crew let me return them but the second time, I'm just so frustrated that I don't even want to go to the effort of returning them or getting a replacement. I would think the black would be fine, but its something about the silver specchio that was produced incorrectly--I've never had any other silver/mirror type shoes do this. Super disappointed!!!

November 22, 2024Very cute and comfortable shoe with a delicate finish. Was not careful removing and the silver has rubbed off on the heel. Totally my fault, just be aware! TTS.

Great shoe, trendy but not over the top!
November 3, 2024I love the versatility of my silver monk straps. I’ve worn with Jean, skirts and tights, and dress pants. Each outfit benefiting from the pop of metallic, and on trend. While trendy now I believe these shoes will be wearable beyond this season as they are a classic style with the loafer feel. The fit is also comfortable and can be worn all day. I may put arch support inside for added comfort, but it isn’t a necessity. I’m between a 6 and 6.5, went with 6.5 and happy with them.
