an exclusive collection of summer accessories with a free-spirited twist,
inspired by her jazz musician grandfather. Learn how it all came together…

“Monrowe was named after my grandfather—my mother’s father. He was a jazz
musician down south in the ’40s and ’50s and traveled to speakeasies playing
trumpet, saxophone and piano. He was also self-taught, which is pretty major.”

I like to think
of myself as
a creative, designer
and artist, but at
the end of the day,
I’m a storyteller.

When I got the call about this partnership, I
started to conceptualize what a Monrowe and
J.Crew love child would look like as a woman.
She’s low-key yet luxe.
In honor of Juneteenth, we asked Dani to share some of her favorite Black-owned businesses that you can support this month and all year long…1.“My dear friend Leona Lewis owns the cutest plant-based coffee shop in LA called Coffee and Plants, which is a definite go-to.”
2.“I really love the brand Hanifa. They have the coziest floor-length, chunky, woven-robe dress that I live in during the winter.”
3.Alaffia is a must for body creams.”
4.The Lip Bar products keep my pout sitting pretty.”
5.KNC Beauty has the dopest eye and lip masks as well.”

Style is an extension and expression of
yourself, so if I can be a part of someone’s story
through wearing a hat or scarf or shoes, I feel
like my mission is complete.
