One of the best things about summer—or, for that matter, about any trip to a warm place—is the chance to leave behind those winter–weight wool trousers in favor of chino (or chambray, or linen, or cotton, or seersucker...) shorts. There's something freeing, we think, about feeling the breeze on your knees. And above the knees too, if that's your style: While many of our men's shorts reach longer, Bermuda–inspired lengths, we do have several pairs with seven– or even five–inch inseams. Of course, we've got more than just club shorts: Our drawstring–waist Dock Shorts—inspired by the athletic styles of the '60s—are perfect for casual activities like running errands, and our printed, embroidered or madras dress shorts are stylish enough for backyard barbecues and even the office (if you're lucky enough to work in a shorts–friendly environment).
