Tall short-sleeve popover shirt in Irish linen

Tall short-sleeve popover shirt in Irish linen is rated 3.8 out of 5 by 4.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Love this shirt! I have received multiple compliments while wearing this shirt. The tall was essential as this shirt was too short in a regular. I am 5'9". I did have to size down so that it fit better in the shoulders. I may end up buying another in another color.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from runs very wide I also reviewed the fit under the white popover heading. this is for the Tall blue and green which also fits very well for length. its the width that is big. I would still recommend ordering down a size, although I will order down two sizes as I do not want that much extra fabric. Even ordering down, the arms and chest fit, and its still baggy, so I do think it just runs large vs being due to style only. if you look at the model you do not see the extra fabric so I don't think its meant to be that big or it would have been shown being worn that way. the linen fabric is soft and excellent, so it is worth it, once you find your size!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Meh on this Popover-sized Shirt I am positively swimming in my normal size 10T. To get the fit shown on the model I'd need to size down 2 full sizes. The sleeves are also a little too long. To be fair - I did order the tall for the length but I might try again in a smaller regular size That said, you'll notice in the picture, the shirt comes in at the model's waist. Not so in real life. I can see how this oversized square-cut would work in a lighter, more billowy fabric, but this shirt is completely unflattering in this fabric. (Fabric, is fine, by the way - nice and crisp as linen should be. I just don't like the fabric*cut interaction.) I am SO. OVER. this boxy cut that J.Crew is obsessed with; I like comfort as much as the next girl but I'd also prefer to not look like Spongebob Squarepants is picking out my clothes...

Rated 3 out of 5 by from nice material but a little too wide and flowy The linen is really lovely and the details on the sleeves are very nice. But the shape is not as slender as in the photo. It is pretty wide, more than boxy. I returned my small for an extra small and still felt that the amount of material in the body of the blouse was beyond boxy.
