Ultra wide-leg chino pant

Ultra wide-leg chino pant is rated 3.2 out of 5 by 8.
Rated 4 out of 5 by from Love the silhouette and drape I bought the warm cedar, size 4. I'm very happy with the way the material feels--I like a comfortable, relaxed fit in the leg and this being so wide-legged of course it is perfect. Very vintage feel. For reference I am 5'9", about 140 pounds, 35×27×39 (bust waist hip). Like everyone else mentions the legs are very long, and I prefer this because getting them hemmed is straightforward and not expensive. It's easy to shorten as you need but impossible to make a too-short pant longer. ;-) The waist could be half an inch more narrow for my shape. Butt/hips fit me well--I don't have wide hips but I have a little bubble in back from bicycling. Overall this pant is super flattering on me. Considering buying it in black.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful Drape but Way too Long These chinos are gorgeous on. They drape beautifully, and look like Katherine Hepburn pants. However, they are 4-5 inches too long. I'm 5'5' and 140, the 8 fits fine, if a little loose in the waist, but the length is crazy long. I'm not sure if I want to pay more to have them hemmed to wear with flats or heels. These are not the type of pants you wear 4 inch heels with, so some hemming is definitely required.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Nice design, flattering fit, not the best quality I received these chinos today and although I love the design and fit, the quality is not the best. The pants are really thin and doesn't feel substantial at all unlike the other chinos that I've purchased over the years. They also run large, my advice is to size down. I ordered my usual size 10 and I was swimming in them. I'm headed back to the store to exchange for a size 8 hopefully these fit better. Overall I do like them but I rated the quality only 3 stars because they are so thin. I would still recommend them though.

Rated 2 out of 5 by from Lovely fit, but not great quality I loved the fit of these pants. They were prrfect. However, the material is the kind gat will fade and get light especially where there are folds VERY quickly. For this reason, I returned them. I hope J. Crew makes them in another material!

Rated 2 out of 5 by from sizing wayyy off I usually don't write reviews but I felt compelled to so in this case. Here's the thing: the pants are a very nice idea but poorly executed. I am 5"9, a solid 8 in most pants and I was literally swimming in these and the length is just ridiculous, unless you plan to wear with very high heels. I still love the pants though so I will go try a 6 in store and maybe hem them...
