For every well-suited guy who has ever stepped on a plane, boarded a train or had a client dinner go into overtime, we've got a solution for those inevitable wrinkles: our Ludlow jacket in a specially woven three-ply glen plaid wool from Italy's renowned Lanificio di Tollegno mill. The yarns are highly twisted, giving them an elasticity that resists rumpling, creasing and the unsightly effects of flying coach. Extra interior pockets give you a handy place to stow your passport, boarding pass and anything else you might need on your travels.

Ludlow Traveler suit jacket in glen plaid Italian wool

Rated 4 out of 5 by I don't understand the bad reviews! I received this jacket with the matching pants in the mail today, and I have to say that I don't understand the negative reviews on this suit. It is made of a hefty, but breathable wool, and the blue is a bit more subtle than the photos suggest. The bottom half of the jacket is unlined in back, which some might be mistaking for "cheap". I am not bothered by it, and I think it will actually help me layer sweaters without too much added warmth. Overall, I am very happy with this purchase. October 27, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by A Very Comfortable Suit I'm very please with my purchase of both the plaid and the navy Traveler suits I own. I particularly am happy with how well they breath in hot, humid weather. Because the weave is somewhat open and the jacket us unlined (hence the comfort) you can slightly see a white shirt beneath the navy blazer in bright light. But the comfort is so strong here that it doesn't bother me. June 23, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Ignore the nonsensical bad reviews. Haven't a clue what these negative reviews are referring to: The jacket has a terrific hand-feel--it isn't thick, but its supple and fine texture, along with beautiful coloring (CHARCOAL BLUE), impart a sense of good quality and elegance. Rated 5 out of 5 by Awesome!!! I have 14 J Crew suits and five of them Traveler...great style and as described!! I am very accustom to being complimented DAILY on my wardrobe and J Crew NEVER disappoints!!! And, it's funny...I have a closet full of Tom Ford and Armani but, seem to receive the most compliments from these suits!!! Thanks much for a great product!!!! June 13, 2015
Rated 1 out of 5 by Definitely subpar I've been a big fan of JCrew Ludlow suiting for years and have slowly been converting my wardrobe over. So naturally I expected this suit to be similar in style and quality to the many fine Ludlow suits I've acquired. Opened the box, pulled it out... and was disappointed. The hand of the fabric is terrible, feeling more like polyester than Italian wool. I didn't even try the jacket on -- holding it up to examine it, I could see the light from a floor lamp shining through the fabric. And although the description says "partial Bemberg lining", I wasn't expecting it to look this cheap. Back it goes. March 27, 2015
