Product Details

The 484 is our slimmest fit yet, for guys who like their jeans tailored, not skinny. These are cut from premium denim from North Carolina's famed Cone Denim mill (one of the oldest denim mills in the world, Cone's commitment to quality and innovation made it a favorite of working men a century ago and denimheads today). It's cut, sewn and finally garment-dyed in downtown LA for cool highs and lows of color at the seams.

484 jean in garment-dyed American denim

484 jean in garment-dyed American denim is rated 3.9 out of 5 by 7.
Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfection These are the best jeans ever created (period). I've tried and worn jeans from your typical "mall brands", designer, and small batch craft jeans. But, again, these are the best... nuff said. My bottom half thanks you J. Crew.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great American made quality Purchased a pair in Vintage Fatigue at a J. Crew location because I saw the Made in USA sign. Loved them so much, I ordered the Charleston Brown (would love to have ordered the Burnt Carmel as well -- sadly they are no longer available). Very comfortable, great fit, great quality -- refreshing to see some products Made in USA.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stretches after wear, but I love them I'd recommend buying one size smaller than you usually do, even in the 484 which is already snug. They stretch a bit and will feel great after initial wear. I am a 32 and ended up with a 31 that fit perfect! JCrew staff were great in taking my returns and helping me with this. I did miss out on getting it in the dark brown because there was a mis-labeling on the website for the colors in the 484, and my local store didn't carry them.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Compliments Everyday I purchased a pair of these in Navy Twilight over the weekend and have received countless compliments since. They run a tad bit small, but figure they will break in over time. I was torn between purchasing the navy or yellowish-brown color, but decided navy would be better suited to wear on a daily basis at the office. Overall a great pant, feels like it will last, will definitely revisit the store to check out the other style (770), must have missed them in while I was in the store.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Great Fall Staple This will be my second pair of 484s from J. Crew and I really appreciate the fit a lot. The 484s are what I like to call a "smart skinny", skinny at the thigh and slim in the legs. The leg openings fortunately do not bellow out which is what I've experienced with other "slim" fits which do so even after cuffing. The olive wash is very rich and a good color to compliment other cool colors you might pair with it.
