I originally debated about purchasing these jeans when they first came out. After a couple of weeks I knew I needed a lighter color in denim for spring/summer. I wasn't sure about the cropped Demi boot cut though. I finally tried them on in the store and loved them! Perfect with heels, flats, flip flops, booties. They are a higher rise which I prefer now in all JCrew jeans. I'm just really tired of low rise. The higher rise is so comfortable and very in style now as well. They fit TTS. I am 5"5' and 100 lbs and purchased the size 25, which I wear in the Lookout High Rise as well. Just a tad longer on me than in the model. Love the lighter color. Very pleased.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Charo1 Great jeans for summer
Bought these on a whim. Love the color and fit. Looks great with sandals or dressed up with heels and a jacket. The fabric is a little heavier than the dark jeans purchased last fall which I like, they seem more like all denim with a hint of stretch not a lot of stretch so they hold their shape and don't become baggy.
Recommend this for your summer wardrobe

The quality and fit are perfect. The high waist is sooo comfortable. I'd like them in black. I m 5'9" with a long torso and not so long legs. The length is perfect. Nice job J. Crew!

I put on these jeans as soon as they arrived and I did not take them off for the rest of the day. I have many pairs of J.Crew jeans but these Billy Crops are higher in the rise and I feel like I am wearing my pajamas. I plan on buying them in white also. The fit is true to size and I love the little kick at the bottom.

Bought these without trying them on- love them! They do have a higher rise, but I really like the way it looks. The cut is very flattering, the denim is lighter for summer....can't say enough great things about them!
