Rated 2 out of 5 by Not Quite Perfect Office Piece I received my order in time. Upon arrival and further inspection, I was disappointed at the quality of the pants for the price point. They are unlined and do not seem that they can hold through several washings. I have purchased several suits from J Crew in the past of much better quality. This was a definite disappointment. And have already begun the search for an alternative clothing company that can deliver better on quality. October 14, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Nice looking, but not great quality This pant comes in a very nice navy color. However, I am disappointed with this pant as it is unlined (ugh, I really wish Jcrew would start lining it regular work trousers). I have purchased the Super 120s wool pant, which is also unlined, but at least it says that in the product description. Nowhere in the description for the Campbell trouser in Italian stretch wool does it state that the pant is unlined. I thought since it didn't say that and especially considering the price, it would be lined, which would have been nice, especially since temperatures on dropping on the east coast--I was hoping for a decent pant to wear to work for the cooler temperatures. These pants are really thin. They also run slightly small. Despite this, I really need more work pants so I am deciding whether to keep it. In sum: it looks nice, but it disappoints. October 23, 2015
Rated 3 out of 5 by Shrinkage after dry-cleaning? These pants fit great out of the box, but shrank a bit after dry-cleaning. I hope they stretch back out. Unfortunately, they aren't lined either, so the scratchy wool rubs against your thighs. The initial fit was wonderful, but overall quality would be greatly improved with lining. November 11, 2015
Rated 5 out of 5 by Hello Wardrobe Workhorse! These pants are phenomenal. The wool is of superb quality. I happen to run from any clothing that is lined - blazers, skirts, pants. I don't feel it's necessary when the material is great - like these. I got them in black and in the size that matches my hip measurement and they fit like they're custom made for me. I got the Campbell ankle pant last fall, and I was SO pleased to see the full length version added this season. Hope J Crew keeps them in the line up as they'll be my go to for years to come. Rated 4 out of 5 by Comparing to Lined version of Campbell trousers Ordered these in 00, I'm 5.2" and the fit was beautiful! I'm comparing these to Campbell trousers-lined version that I purchased after trying on both pairs. In comparison, these run a bit tight which isn't too small, make sure your office is ok with tighter figure hugging trousers. Separately, the lack of lining enables direct contact with the wool fabric which felt too itchy for my liking. I assume if I ordered a size up, the fit would be more loose and the fabric might feel less irritating, however I opted for the lined version since they are a great year-round item. My office is air-conditioned and lined trousers didn't feel too warm even in 85 degrees weather. June 4, 2016
