The fit of these pants is as expected. I am "hippy" so it fits me a bit snug there. My only gripe is that I bought the awesome pink color, but they are not lined. So they not only don't have that smoothing effect that most suiting pants have and they are also a bit see-through due to the light color. Also, wish they would bring back the jacket in the matching color.

Quality of the lightweight wool is lovely. Size is true for my petite 0 frame with 26" waist. Lenght is suitable for work as it hit me above my ankle like the pic (I'm 5'3"). Pale pink is just like the pic.BUT there should be a lining on these pants for two reasons. 1) it is slightly see through esp the pink being a lighter colour. 2) it will hang better on me and not show any tuck in blouse as much.

I bought these in black and in light gray. I was very disappointed in the quality and the fit of these pants. The fabric was so cheap and the style was so unattractive. Not the quality of years past.

I have the patio pant in the black twill material and they are great. I ordered the pale pink wool with some reservations, having read other reviews about the quality of the fabric. Sadly, I also found the material far too thin ~ basically see through. In general, the patio pant works well for me, as it's a little more generous in the hip and thigh area. I do leave the pocket seems sewn shut, as they tend to gap otherwise.

I am 5'7", 135 lbs, and what I would describe as fit (weightlifting). I wear either a size 2 or 4 in J.Crew pants and these are PERFECT in a size 2!
I purchased the green with the coordinating blazer as I work in a formal office environment and am glad for the new addition to my standard navy, black and beige suits.
