Italian cashmere cardigan sweater
Product Details

Our famous Italian cashmere—from one of the best mills in the world—now woven together a little more densely so it'll keep its shape for years (and years) to come. We work closely with the mill to make sure each sweater takes our signature colors perfectly, hence the extra-vivid hues you see here. And if you're wondering about how to treat this special style, we recommend hand washing instead of dry cleaning, and handling with a little more care than your other layers.

  • Italian cashmere in a 12-gauge knit.
  • Hand wash.
  • We recommend folding (never hanging) and storing in tissue paper.
  • Import.

Italian cashmere cardigan sweater

Rated 1 out of 5 by 3 reviewers.
Rated 1 out of 5 by not the quality that it used to be I have this cardigan in various colors from diff seasons. Unfortunately, the quality is just not the same as it used to be. The Jcrew cashmere I've bought in the recent years pilling after 1-2 dry cleanings. The seams esp at the arm holes don't hold up, my dry cleaner repairs mine. And the buttons break, they crack in half. Its disappointing, but be prepared to replace your sweater every year, they don't last anymore. August 26, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by Poor quality for what you pay The seams have ripped apart on this sweater. I took it back to the store and they said I had not purchased it recently enough (within the past 6 mos) to justify a replacement or return. Not acceptable given the amount we pay for these sweaters. I will not be repeating this costly mistake with J. Crew. August 27, 2016
Rated 1 out of 5 by September 2016 - same poor imitation I have at least a dozen JCrew cashmere cardigans. One of my all time favorites collected over years. It was soft and fit well. This year's model is oddly shrunken. Who has shrunken wrists? But the big problem is the cashmere itself. It feels coarse, hard, not at all soft and cozy. This one is packed for return - I will treasure the ones I have. Whoever decided this wool was worthy of JCrew cashmere prices - I do not get it. September 8, 2016
