Rated 4 out of 5 by Connie PETITE HAS ARMS TOO TIGHT
This jacket is pretty and I wanted it to fit better. I am a Petite 10, so the Regular 10 in the store was too long for me. I ordered the Petite 10 online. The body was fine (always is), but when I moved my arms, the sleeves were too tight. When I put a short sleeved tee on, the sleeves bunched up and stuck in the shoulders. This is something that is throughout the J Crew line of coats and tops. Yes, a petite size can be a bit narrower between the shoulders, but our arms and legs aren't much different from a Regular size. I'm just shorter, not thinner. Petite is a height measurement, not a weight. If I was thinner, I would go down a number size to an 8. The store will suggest to go up a size, but that doesn't work because then the body is too big.

Rated 3 out of 5 by summit great blazer, heavy fabric
Thick, structured material makes this jacket look like a formal version of casual linen. Casual linen usually hangs well and drapes on the body movements. What strikes me is how heavy the material is for a summer/spring blazer. I wore it the other day and it was so hot for summer, but I need the sun cover. It's too fitted to wear anything really underneath but a sleeveless top.
I like the structure, but don't care for the stiff fabric. Linen is usually more breathable, but this has also a heavy cotton lining. It's beautiful to look at, but I feel a little "held in". I also am loving the white color, but am also concerned about getting makeup on the inside of the collar, since it is a stand-up collar on this version of blazer.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Jess Favorite blazer in my closet!
This is, hands-down, the best blazer I own (from J. Crew or elsewhere). The cut is long, lean, and menswear-inspired, and pairs easily with anything from a tee to a dress shirt. (I wear it most often with an oxford or a white chambray.) I ordered my usual size, the Petite 00, and was delighted at how well it fit. I was especially impressed by the slimness of the sleeves and the low placement of the button.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Trojan Love! I have 4 of them
I have Regent blazers in green, blue, white, and denim (a different item number). They are fitted and the linen is of high quality (they don't wrinkle as easily as I expected). I am 5'2 and ~102 lb. P00 fits me pretty well. The sleeves are snug, but it is roomy enough that I can layer a long sleeve tee or a simple long sleeve silk shirt under it. But this is exactly how I liked it. Most blazers out there are too roomy in the chest for me as I am 32A. This one is very fitted and I can see a clearly defined waist line when I button the blazer.

Rated 3 out of 5 by Caroline Nice jacket, weird sizing
I must have ordered 4 different jackets before finding the right fit. I'm normally a pretty reliable 0/2 or small in J.Crew tops, but I ended up going with a 4P? Very strange. Regardless of what a headache it was to find the right size, I do like the final outcome. It's very tailored, the linen has a nice hand, and I'm hoping it'll last for many, many summers.
