When you're 5'4", there are few cropped options that are cropped on *you.* It was so refreshing to have a truly cropped pant in proportion to me. The light heather gray is very light, and I hesitated to wear it before Memorial Day. This is a summer color.
These pants don't have stretch but are not cut too tight, so order your normal size. I'm 130lbs and at the top end of a P8 normally, sometimes taking P10 in pants, but the P8 of the Paleys fit me.

Rated 4 out of 5 by NJhhk runs smaller than other jcrew pants
I am 5'1 105 lbs. Ordered p00 which fits fine in other jcrew pants. This one was too small. Exchanging for p0.

Rated 4 out of 5 by demishop very slim fit in the legs
I did not think these ran small like the other reviews. I am 00p in jcrew pants- 24" waist/33" hip- and these fit perfectly. The legs are very skinny but in a tailored way. Impressed with the quality.
I tried 0p and it looks like a boyfriend fit. The 00 looks like a baggy full-length pant on me. If you like a more roomy leg or slightly baggier look, get a size up.

I purchased 2 pair, navy and black, size 2P. I usually wear a 0P. They run small. I like the slim leg, and the fact that they have no belt loops. I never where belts, because I like a sleek, non-busy style. These pants look great with a heel or with sneakers. I also like where the waist hits, and how it fits, just above hip, allowing you to either tuck in a top or not. I give it 5 stars not because these are the "best" pants but instead, for the price, the quality is very good. I say wear, enjoy, have fun in them.

Rated 4 out of 5 by monica Great addition to my wardrobe
I have this in the 2 petite light gray. I love the cropped leg (hits at least 2 inches above ankle on my 29 inch inseam) but it is loose in the hips and thighs. The Campbell pants fit my narrow hips better. I actually threw these in the dryer for a bit which helped but I think I will still have my tailor take it in. The color is great for all seasons and the light wool will help me in the freezing AC in the summer.
It has not stretched out at all. I prefer pants to be unlined but I understand that others don't.
