Rated 1 out of 5 by Emily No Lining! Such a disappointment
I have a J Crew suit that I love and wanted to replace it. Unfortunately, none of the J Crew suit pants have lining anymore. J Crew told me that the lining isn't necessary because the pants are so soft. I totally disagree! I cannot wear any wool pants without lining and so returned them. Also, these pants are not any softer (in fact, I think they are less soft) than the older J Crew suit pants I have with lining. I suspect the lack of lining is not about anything other than cost-cutting, which is such a disappointment. I really wish J Crew would put the lining back in their wool suit pants!

Rated 3 out of 5 by LESM Tight compared to other JCrew pants
These are beautiful pants BUT:
I own multiple pairs of Jcrew pants, all in size 0P. I just got 3 pairs of 0P Campbell super 120s in the mail, and they are way too small. I could get them buttoned --barely -- but couldn't comfortably sit down. They were also extremely tight across my thighs, to the point where I was worried they would rip if I bent my leg. This may in part be because many of JCrew's other pants have at least a little stretch in them, and these just don't.
I just re-ordered in two other sizes, but it's extremely frustrating to have the fit of pants be so inconsistent compared to other products.

Rated 4 out of 5 by RedPoppy Neither too wide-legged nor too slim-legged
These are the perfect pant leg width for a short-ish person (5'3") who looks ridiculous in wide trouser-leg pants and who doesn't, on the other hand, want to wear the slim-leg pants that grip every inch of your leg. They look very sharp and slimming without accentuating curves. The material is astonishingly soft given that they are wool and unlined.
Size-wise, these pants seemed to run slightly large in my experience of most other size 4 JCrew pants. I am sticking with the 4s I bought, though they are a little loose, because I believe the 2s would be too tight.
I am not very thin in the thigh area and I don't have the problem of these pants being too tight in the thighs as one reviewer complained. They seem plenty roomy to me.
The length seems to be about right if you're going to be wearing 3 inch heels-- but you'll want to have them hemmed if you're going be wearing flats or lower heals.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Vanessa amazing fit
This version in wool is an infinite improvement over the campbell trousers in bi-stretch cotton, which looked and felt amazing until they bagged out with a couple hours of wear. I was hoping J.Crew would come out with a wool version for fall, and was not disappointed! I bought these in heather flannel and black and anticipate getting a ton of wear out of them. The rise is medium-high and hits just below my belly button. Cut slim through the seat and thighs for a sleek look that is modern but work appropriate. The 31" inseam is ideal to wear with about 3" heels. (for reference I'm 5'5").

Rated 4 out of 5 by 9876543 Haven't decided on these
I love the idea of these. They look fantastic with the Campbell blazer, and I really love not having ridiculously long inseams that require an immediate alteration to be wearable. They look great with flats, as well. I'm not totally sure on the size, though. I'm consistently a 0 in J.Crew's suiting pants, and they fit like they were made for me in the waist (a big deal, especially since these don't have belt loops), but are very tight through the hips and upper thigh. From what I can tell, they are slightly tighter on me than they should be, but they are cut to be very fitted. I'm just not sure it'll work at my conservative workplace.
