Rated 2 out of 5 by Anon Misrepresented, lining is not leather
I love the Ceces and own a few pairs, and love that they are back to being made in Italy. But the description is incorrect, the lining is not leather, as the sticker on the sole states. I am disappointed because this is a misrepresentation to customers who trust J. Crew's description and quality of yore, and I never would have bought it had I known the lining was synthetic (plastic). The suede is soft and the shoe seems comfortable, but another source of disappointment is that the shoes came thrown in a box, with no tissue. This is not the attention to detail I expect from J. Crew as a long time customer.

Thank you JCrew for bringing back the Italian made Cece. This shoe is even more comfortable than the old Italian Cece. I just received the beautiful blue leather ones and the strawberry suede and they are so comfortable right out of the box with wonderful soft leather. Get buying as this company is unique in today's retail landscape and has taken the trouble to listen to their customers and brought these shoes back. They are also such a great price point for a quality ballet flat and worth every penny.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Annie What a difference!
The second you put on this shoe you can feel the difference between "Made in Italy" and "Imported." I never had the original Cece, but bought a pair last fall and was not impressed. These, though, are remarkably comfortable and genuinely pretty. Seriously, J.Crew, thanks for doing right by your customers and returning to the quality that made us loyal in the first place. I'd gladly pay $30 more for a shoe that will last 3 years longer than the cheaply made version --especially when the design is as timeless as it is for this flat.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Lauramtoyou Adorable, comfy, well-made, & yes- so adorable!
I love the Cece. Agree w/ those who said something about "Made in Italy" lives up to its reputation in this shoe. Purchased over several years' time-- I have three pairs black suede, two in black leather and another in a vibrant, almost neon, plum suede that does the trick when the outfit is all black! Please, please, JCrew, keep listening to your very satisfied customers and keep these coming. I'd love a deep brown suede &/or leather in the fall or a cognac leather and a few deep, vibrant, even neon, jewel tone brights!! As for size I wear either 7 or 7.5-- occasionally an 8-- the 7.5 is perfect.

Rated 5 out of 5 by MegO Comfortable flats
I'm a young mom and needed chic comfortable flats that I could chase my little ones around in. These flats fit the bill. Very comfortable and do not pinch anywhere. I am typically a size 7.5 and wear an 8 in these shoes so I'd say they run a half size small.
