Fireman's jacket

Product Details

We sourced the waxed cotton for our new lightweight fireman's jacket from the 150-year-old Halley Stevensons mill in Dundee, Scotland—the town where herring fishermen first started treating sailcloth with fish oil in the 15th century to make it more durable and water-resistant. Inspired by traditional firemen's jackets, we incorporated authentic details like metal "hook-and-dee" clasps (they make the jacket easier to open with heavy-duty gloves on) and a corduroy collar. With just the right mix of old and new, it's the perfect wear-anywhere jacket. Go behind the design.
