Twigs & Honey® cathedral veil

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Perfect cathedral length veil At a bridal salon these are over £300. I bought this on a whim and found it to be fantastic quality at half the price. Colour is a true Ivory. V on trend with ungathered or pleated attachment to the comb so that the veil lies flat on your head and the fabric is therefore flat over your face (think Kate Middleton rather than a big poofy 1980's veil). Only issue is the comb. It is gold coloured metal with about 5-6 widely spaced teeth. I have really thick hair and it was sliding and wobbling around without me even moving. Had my dress maker change it for a clear plastic comb with lots of teeth that sits firmly in my hair. Sure the gold metal one looks nicer when you're holding it but it would have come out altogether in the slightest gust of wind and who wants photos with a wonky veil?

Rated 5 out of 5 by from The perfect veil I just received my veil and I couldn't be happier. After searching high and low for a veil I am so glad I came across this beautiful, sleek piece to finish off my wedding day look. The light weight fabric and slim design are just enough accentuate your dress without overpowering your look and body. It's also a stunning piece that can be worn with so many bridal styles. And most importantly, you're getting great quality for your money - I'm more in love with this than the $450 veil I was originally looking at. I'll be honest that the tulle isn't as nice as the more expensive piece, but in the grand scheme of things there isn't a world of difference. I would recommend this to any bride seeking a cathedral length veil for her wedding day. I can't wait to wear mine in 2 months!

Rated 3 out of 5 by from Pretty but not as detailed as others This was a pretty veil when I got it and it goes perfectly with the Elsie dress. However, based on other veils I've seen, this doesn't really have any personality. It's definitely a modern look, but there is nothing to really weigh it down at the bottom and it doesn't "flow" as nicely as other cathedral length veils—it just kind of sits behind you and on your head. I will probably keep it just because I like the price and I will only wear the veil for a half an hour during the ceremony itself, but I wish it had some sort of detailing or something around the edges to make it more unique and substantive instead of what seems to be a cut out piece of fabric placed on a comb.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Beautiful complement to my gown Initially, I imagined a wedding gown with a train but I fell in love with the Elsie Gown. Adding this veil offered the additional touch of bridal elegance I was looking for. It is light and airy and arrived beautifully packaged. The tulle is a bit more delicate than I anticipated. But now I can't imagine wearing anything else on my wedding day this November.
