Rated 3 out of 5 by SuperGreek BUSTY LADIES BEWARE
A bunch of my fellow bridesmaids and I headed to the Jcrew wedding boutique to try on dresses. I tried on the sample of this dress (an 8) and was clipped into it. It looked amazing. I immediately bought it and thats where the magic ended.
Before I go on, the dress is gorgeous. Its elegant, has pockets, is beautifully crafted. That being said, That opaque layer from bust to waist is a thin piece of liner and provides no support or shape at all. As a bigger chested, small bodied, long torosed woman, this couldn't have been more wrong. I took it to my favorite trusted tailor and he agreed that not much could be done to make this work for my body type.
If you are smaller on top and of fairly normal proportions, buy this dress. Do it for me. I wish I could have worn it without looking like a sea monster.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Dresser Beautiful dress but not without its flaws.
I bought this dress in two sizes (6 and 8) based on past experience with the Mirabelle, but found this runs true to size and the 6 fits comfortably. It is fitted but not snug. If I had gone with an 8, it would have needed to be completely altered.
Found this length to be too long though - I am just about 5'7" and it hits a little to below the knee. It doesn't even hit the model above the knee as detailed in the description, so make note of this. It is very flowy, which is great, but makes it seem longer than it should be. I may need to hem for it to look best on my frame.
The 'sleek illusion neckline' is great but the front of the bodice is not connected or sewn to the chiffon and is pretty much like a slip without straps. It held up just fine for me when I tried it on (I am a B cup), but I did not like that at all. The fabric is beautiful, but VERY delicate and I'm already scared of snags.
It's a keeper, but definitely flawed.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Isabel Can't wait to wear it!
I had been stalking this dress for months and finally took the plunge. I usually take a size 4 in J.Crew dresses but as advised by a stylist I bought a size 6 since the material is very delicate and doesn't provide stretch. Couldn't be happier, and I might have to take in a little at the waist but the color (strawberry) is just lovely and I'm sure it will be a big hit at the wedding I'm planing on wearing it on. I'm 1.65 cm and it hits just bellow my knee which I think is a perfect length. All in all, I love it and so glad I got it!

Rated 3 out of 5 by Laura Pretty dress but fabric fragile
I purchased this dress in "dark eggplant" as a bridesmaid's dress. It's very pretty, and the craftsmanship is good. However, the fabric is fragile. I went one size up from my normal dress size (although the fit is larger especially in the bust area), as I don't think the seams on this dress could stand up to normal wear and tear if the dress was form fitted. Also, I put a small snag in the fabric when I tried it on for the first time, despite trying to be as careful with it as possible. I wished I could have purchased either the Sophie or Kami dress in purple (they are backordered until mid October); nevertheless, the Megan dress will serve it's purpose.

Rated 2 out of 5 by Arija Bit of a letdown :-/
Usually I can order J. Crew online because I know how the brand fits me (really well, usually). This time, though, the waist is really high on me. Really really high. High enough that I look dumpy. It's sad; I was obsessing over this dress online for months before I bought it.
